Reutlingers are a quick and easy way to shorten the drop on wire ropes but are not suitable in a lifting situation such as on lighting bars, they can only be used for suspension and the load rating is significantly less than the wire rope. Reutlingers are available with a choice of end fitting, fork or ring, and with a side entry.
