Commercial hooks are not CE marked or load rated and therefore not suitable for lifting. This type of hook is used in a variety of situations such as anchors with bungee ropes, hanging curtains, signs, decorations etc. They are also used in the manufacture of safety bonds but MUST be destroyed if they are shockloaded.
