Rope Assemblies Ltd has 2 automatic cutting machines, 7 talurit presses and
2 swaging machines to ensure a quick, efficient delivery service to its many
customers.
All ropes terminated are made to customer specification.
We
have sourced 'wide pin thimbles' that take the body of the large 3.25t and
4.75t Shackles, negating the need for an oversized thimble for the rope diameter.
The thimbles can be 'colour coded' to identify lengths, or application of
ropes, making the installers life so much easier and more efficient.
Tapered ferrules with 'inspection' holes, available for ropes 6mm and above,
stops injury to the installers by covering the sharp ends, yet allowing for
easy inspection to ensure that ropes have not slipped under tension.
Terminated ropes are available in galvanised, stainless steel or our patented
'galvanised black' wire rope.
All ropes are tested and certified and marked with their unique individual
CE number to comply with the stringent LOLER safety regulations.
Safety Bonds
In
1999 Rope Assemblies Ltd received the prestigious ABTT Product of the Year
Award for their Luminaire Safety Bond.
After many years working with Theatre Technicians, Lighting and Audio Manufacturers
and suppliers we provided the 'Ultimate Safety Bond' which is manufactured
to customer specification available in 'Galvanised Black' or self coloured
wire rope, with the required hook on the end depending on the weight of the
lamp or speaker. Each Safety Bond is labelled with the Working Load Limit
(WLL) and can also be labelled with your company name.
Marquee Ropes
PVC coated wire ropes have become the 'norm' for the marquee customer, as
the PVC coating prevents the oil and grease from the rope marking and staining
the canvas. Bracing wires are made to manufacturer's specification and can
be labelled with your company name for easy identification.
